Outhouse

Beautiful stone mid-terrace home in Crookes with a stunning kitchen, bathroom and a private rear garden.

The owner of this property had lived in Crookes before her purchase, so she knew which streets were her favourites. She loved Tasker Road, it’s quiet, friendly and relatively wide which makes parking easier. Crookes was always the desired location with its fantastic shops, cafes and regular bus service to the city centre, plus the property is within walking distance of Broomhill, Crosspool and Walkley.

The property has an East/West aspect, the owner enjoys the morning sun through the front of the property and the afternoon sun in the garden. She loves how the property is cosy in the winter and cool in the summer months.

Entering the property through the front door we have the living room, this is lovely, cosy room. There is plenty of room for seating but your eye is immediately drawn to the stove, with beautiful stone lintel and hearth. On one side of the chimney breast is shelving and on the other is a bespoke TV unit with storage underneath.

Across the bottom of the stairs is the stunning dining kitchen, which was remodelled by the current owners. There are deep blue Shaker-style units above and below the Quartz worktop with a bevelled tile splashback. In terms of appliances, there is an electric oven, electric hob, slimline dishwasher, fridge and freezer. From the kitchen is access to the cellar and external door to the rear garden.

On the first floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom one is at the front of the property, this is a double bedroom with built-in storage under the stairs. Bedroom two is a single bedroom, used by the owners as a home office. Like the kitchen, the bathroom was installed recently, there is a bath with a shower attachment, towel radiator and modern floating vanity unit and WC with a concealed cistern with shortage above.

Bedroom three is another double bedroom on the second floor, there are large Velux windows at the front and rear plus storage in the eaves.

Externally, at the front, there is a forecourt with a flowerbed. The rear garden is private, there are no rights of way from neighbours. It has a patio that is perfect for summer BBQ’s and evening drinks. At the back of the garden is a gravelled area.
