What The Owner Says
"Buying this as our first home, it instantly felt like somewhere we could properly settle into. It’s the kind of terrace that just works for everyday life, spacious enough to grow into, with a garden that’s easy to look after but still full of colour and greenery in the warmer months. We’ve loved being part of such a friendly neighbourhood too, where neighbours stop for a chat and everything you need is close by.

Crookes has been a huge part of why we’ve loved living here. Weekend mornings often started with coffee from Cloud Coffee Co or pastries from Crumb Bakery, and we’d always recommend the arancini and cannoli from Made in Sicily. There’s a real community feel to the area, with independent shops, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance, plus parks and green spaces nearby when you want to slow things down. One of our favourite things has been heading up to the Bolehills on a summer evening to watch the sunset over the Rivelin Valley, it’s one of those views that never gets old."

A lovely home in the heart of Crookes, this three-bedroom terrace blends character, practicality and a sunny south-facing garden, all within easy reach of the area’s brilliant cafes, pubs and shops.

You enter the property through the front door into the dining kitchen, a welcoming space that feels very much like the heart of the home. The kitchen offers an impressive amount of storage, with modern units running across three walls as well as additional cabinetry built around the cellarhead access. There’s an electric oven/grill, electric hob, and space for both a tall fridge/freezer and washing machine. A peninsula extends out from the chimney breast, creating a great spot for breakfast, a coffee with a friend or somewhere to sit with a drink while cooking.

Across the bottom of the stairs is the lounge, a cosy yet bright room with an external door to the front and a large side window bringing in plenty of natural light. The decorative fireplace adds character, with shelving built into the alcoves creating useful storage and display space.

On the first floor, the front bedroom is a generous double with a useful storage cupboard over the stairs. To the rear is a single bedroom that would work perfectly as a nursery, dressing room or home office. The bathroom has been finished to a modern standard and includes a bath with shower above, WC, washbasin with storage underneath and a heated towel radiator.

The second floor is home to another spacious double bedroom, flooded with natural light thanks to Velux windows at both the front and rear. There’s also useful eaves storage to the front and rear.

Outside, the front forecourt is enclosed by a hedge which gives a nice sense of privacy from the street. To the rear, the south-facing garden is a real highlight, enjoying plenty of sunshine throughout the day. There’s hardstanding directly behind the property, ideal for outdoor seating, followed by a lawn and established flowerbeds adding colour and greenery. At the far end of the garden is access to a footpath connecting Tasker Road and Salisbury Road.

Crookes is one of the most sought-after suburbs with young professionals and families as it has a fantastic, vibrant high street. There is a brilliant choice of coffee shops and cafes including Cloud Coffee Co. Lisboa Cafe & Patisserie, Dana Cafe, Pom Kitchen and Crumb to name a few.
