After 60 years of ownership, it's time for a new family to love and grow in this wonderful family home. The family have many fond memories of growing up here, they’ve told us about how amazing the garden was to play in as children, and it was great to have Forge Dam just down the road.
The entrance to the property is through the front door, leading into the hallway. The living room is to the left, the dining kitchen is at the end, and stairs to the upper floors are straight ahead.
The living room is good size with plenty of room for seating, a bay window at the front and a chimney breast with an open fire within. The dining kitchen has space for a large dining table in front of the patio doors to the rear garden. The kitchen itself is a U-shape with plenty of storage units above and below the worktop, in terms of appliances, there is an electric oven, hob and space for a washing machine and dishwasher. There is an external door to the side of the property and the cupboard under the stairs provides more storage.
On the first floor are two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate WC. Bedroom one is at the front of the property; it is a large double bedroom. Bedroom two is another double bedroom with built-in wardrobes and stunning views of the nearby countryside. The bathroom is finished to a modern standard. There is a bath with a shower above and a vanity unit with a sink and plenty of storage space. The separate WC is next door.
There are two further bedrooms and a shower room on the second floor, bedroom three is a good double and bedroom four is a large single bedroom.
Externally, at the front of the property, there is off-street parking for multiple cars with a lawn to the side. The detached garage is at the end of the drive, accessed by a manual up-and-over door.
The south-facing garden is a fantastic size, which means that the property has the potential to be extended (subject to any necessary permissions and consents). Currently, there is a large paved area perfect for summer BBQs and then a large lawn.
