WHAT THE VENDOR SAYS
"We have loved living in this house, it has been the perfect place to come home to and to create special memories in. It is a very sociable house, and we have hosted everything from friends for dinner and casual bbqs through to our daughter's christening party for 40 people! A few of the things we have loved in particular are; the garden - the deck is a complete sun trap. It is the first place to get the sun in morning and the last place to lose it at nights. So perfect for your morning coffee or your g&t after work. I've loved seeing the garden develop and the sunny nature of it make it perfect for veg growing - we have done really well with tomatoes and courgettes this year! The living room is a really cosy space, the perfect retreat after a long day at work. The shower is amazing - the water pressure was one the factors that made us buy the house! The luxurious size of the bedrooms - we have been rather spoilt.

We have really enjoyed loving in Walkley. We really appreciated the park being right on our doorstep when our daughter arrived - having that large open space to run about it has been great (it is also great for sledging in). The high street is in ease walking distance and we have definitely made use of the independent butchers and bakery as well as the excellent coffee shops."

Walkley is an extremely popular suburb with people attracted by its proximity to Sheffield City Centre, central hospitals and Sheffield University. On the high street are some fantastic local independent shops and cafes including Gerties Café, Gerry's Bakery & Coffee House and Beeches farmshop to name a few. Whilst being close to the city centre people people are drawn to Walkley as it also has fantastic countryside just a short drive away such as Rivelin Valley Nature Trail and Ladybower Reservoir is only roughly 20 mins away.
