Entry to the property is through the composite front door and into the living room. This room is a good size and has a large window to the front providing plenty of natural light. Across the bottom of the stairs is the dining kitchen.

The kitchen itself has plenty of modern high gloss units above and below the worktop with a sink in front of a window looking over the rear garden towards the city centre. In terms of appliances there is an electric cooker with gas hob above and space for a washing machine and large fridge/freezer. There is an external door to the rear garden and in the opposite corner is the door to the cellar head.

On the first floor are two bedrooms and the bathroom. Bedroom two is at the front of the property and this is a good double with a large storage cupboard under the stairs to the attic. Bedroom three is a single bedroom room that is currently used as an office. The bathroom has been modernised to a high standard with a shower over the bath, washbasin, WC, towel radiator and extractor fan.

On the second floor is bedroom one, which is a large double bedroom with a dormer window at the rear providing incredible views over the city centre. There is also potential to add storage space in the eaves of the roof.

Crookes is a suburb located approximately 1.5 miles from Sheffield City Centre. Crookes is incredibly popular with first time buyers due to its proximity to the central hospitals and both universities. Within Crookes is a wide range of independently run shops, bars and restaurants as well as a Sainsbury's Local and Co-op. Also within a short walk is Broomhill where there are more restaurants, pubs and cafes.

"What the vendor says....."
We have thoroughly enjoyed living in our first home together on Blakeney road. It has been the best of both worlds- super convenient, as it is so central, but a peaceful street with lovely neighbours. We love being able to wander up to Crookes high street or down to Broomhill for lunch or coffee (where there is a nice independent vibe). Even during busy times we have always been able to park on the road. This house stood out to us, as it isn't overlooked (unlike other terraced houses in Crookes). This means you have gorgeous sunshine through the kitchen windows in the morning. If it weren't for job offers taking us outside of Sheffield, we would happily settle here as this property still has so much potential, despite it being so recently renovated.
